ALMERINDA MALAQUIAS FOUNDATION
Founded in 1991, The Almerinda Malaquias Foundation (FAM) creates sustainable opportunities for the former naval hub of Novo Airão, Amazonas. Its founders were moved by the economic hardships faced by local families and identified handicrafts as a powerful tool for empowerment and development.
INCOME GENERATION PROJECT
The Income Generation Program of the Almerinda Malaquias Foundation (FAM) aims to create sustainable opportunities by focusing on carpentry using wood waste and other recycled materials. The program supports around 50 families, allowing them to achieve financial independence.
In collaboration with this foundation, Alexandre Birman incorporated these products into the launch of its latest collection.

RIVERSIDE EDUCATION PROJECT
The project seeks to strengthen primary education in riverside communities through the construction of new schools and improvements to existing facilities. The project helps promote quality education and preserve cultural traditions and local biodiversity.
In support of this project, Alexandre Birman provided the necessary resources to reconstruct a school in one of the assisted communities.
